After releasing an arrow seems to be the most tense. It is common nature to want to get after the Deer we shot at right away. If you have read the back of a cereal box during Deer season in Wisconsin, you know that would be a mistake, in most opinions. As for myself, if I know for sure there is lungs, heart, or a dead Deer on the ground, I want to get that Deer home before the Coyotes or Wolves get to it. Here is a video of me finding my 2012 buck I killed with a bow.
