Bats have been around the world for thousands of years. And there are 1240 differant species of bat on the planet. 70% of the bats are insectivores, and most of the rest are fruit eaters. There are a few fish eating bat, and one paracitic mamal known as the vampire bat. There are also a few carnivorous species of bat which eat lizzards, frogs, etc and one which catches birds in flight to eat them.
But lets talk about the bats here in the United States.
